Buhari inaugurates committee on new minimum wage to be chaired by Bismarck Rewane

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday at the state house Abuja, inaugurated an advisory technical  committee on the new proposed N30,000 minimum wage.

The committee headed by Bismarck Rewane, an economist is expected to deliberate on sustainable source of funding  for the new minimum wage as well as plans for implementation. The committee is expected to submit its report in one month.

A statement issued on its verified twitter handle Government of Nigeria @AsoRock reads:President today formally inaugurated the Technical Advisory Committee on the Implementation of an Increase in the National Minimum Wage. The Committee is expected to complete its deliberations and submit its report and recommendations within one month from today.
